'TT' Head Amp

A Superb Sounding High Gain Amp. Unfortunately the Build Quality has Declined Slightly over the last few years, as the Amp is now Made in China (it was made in Korea, then Taiwan). Construction is Strong and Light, the Mains and Output Transformers are still excellent Quality. It's appearance is (perhaps) not to everybody's Taste but it is a VERY High Gain 15 Watt, All Valve Amp. The Guys that Designed this Amp Knew what they were Doing and Although the Circuit Design is Slightly Unorthodox, it's Performance is Good. There are some Fantastic 'Clean' Sounds Available and when you Crank it - It's a Monster. NO 'Buzz -or- Hum' Issues and a Really Trick 'Mute' System that makes the Amp Silent when Nothing is connected to the Input.

No way could you ever use the Standard Amp to it's Full Potential at Home - It is Just TOO Loud. Even the 7 Watt Setting is 'LOUD'. 'OPR' Integrates Beautifully into this Amp and will allow you to 'Crank' it - For Bedroom Practice. The Real Beauty of 'OPR' is that when it is not being used - The Amp Remains Standard - 'OPR' will not Effect the Sound of the Amp 'AT ALL' when it is Set to Full Power - It's Like a 'Ghost' Modification.

Modifications -

There are two Different Front Panel Layouts on the 'TT' depending on When and Where (Korea, Taiwan or China) the Amp was Made. 'OPR' works AOK with Both Types of Amp. The two existing Front Panel Switches will be Replaced with -

1. 'OPR' - Output Power Reduction (Rotary Control) - Essential on this Amplifier if you want to use it in your Home. You can 'Crank' the Amp and then turn the Volume down, the Tone will stay the same.

2. - Three Position Power Switch - 'Off' / 'Standby' / 'On' - - - Some of the early Amps already have this feature (Shown in the Above Photo) but it was discontinued long ago, in favour of a - '15 Watt' / 'Standby' / '7 Watt' - Switch.
