All 'Tweed' Amplifier Combos are built to order. You can decide on the Features (Preamp, Reverb, FX Loop, Rectifier, OPR and Layout) -and- Output Configuration (Dual Parallel, MIXED or Switched Power Valves) before the Amp is Built. The Average price is about £1000 but this depends on the Final 'Spec' and Speaker choice.

The Tweed Combo Cabinet is Hand Made in the UK for 'RAT'. Cabinet Construction is of 3/4 Inch Finger-Jointed Solid Pine with 1/2 Inch Birch Ply Speaker Baffle. Fender 'Tweed' and 'Oxblood' Grille Cloth with a Stitched Carry Handle. Made to the 1950s Fender 'Tweed Deluxe' - Upward 'Slanting Front' Design with Brass Hardware - It even has a Great 'Pine' Natural Wood Smell. Usually Fitted with a New Celestion Alnico 'Blue' -or- G12 'Vintage 30' Speaker but you can have Any 12" Speaker you Like.

Everybody Knows how Different Woods Shape the Sound of an Electric Guitar. Did you Also know that Construction Methods and Different Woods can Shape the Sound of your Amplifier? MDF and Plywood are almost Acoustically 'DEAD'. Pine has a Natural 'Resonance' and really does make a Difference to the Sound of these Amplifiers. You could say the Cabinet has a 'Tone' of it's Own.
